P.W.S.A. Scorekeeping Program

STATISTICIANS

The Statisticians are ready and eager to be able to help our Teams and Associations with their basic and/or advanced scorekeeping.

Going forward, Statisticians can benefit from the team use of Gamechanger at P.W.S.A. tournaments. This is not only efficient, but also limits the number of participants at venues should this remain an issue in 2024 due to COVID-19.  Therefore, we recommend the use of Gamechanger by teams to enable P.W.S.A. to have access to required statistics for awards’ purposes at P.W.S.A. tournaments.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN OUR SCOREKEEPING TEAM?

(Note:  Candidates must be 14 years of age).

The P.W.S.A. is pleased to announce our new pilot program.

Our goal is to develop a pool of trained scorekeepers in as many areas as possible.  This will enable us to assist our Hosts, as we will be able to draw from these pools to keep score at our P.W.S.A. tournaments.

In order to participate in this program, you must attend a Basic Clinic organized by the P.W.S.A. and you must be the official scorekeeper at 3 P.W.S.A. tournament games before being certified.  Once certified, individuals will be used to score at said tournaments and will receive $15.00 per game.

Details on upcoming Scorekeeping Clinics for 2024 to be announced.

Please note that individuals interested in the Scorekeeping Clinics will have to wait until enough interest is generated or a tournament host holds a clinic of at least 8 participants.
