End of Summer Updates

We would like to acknowledge the PWSA Board members for their time over the last 8 weeks administering/convening the various qualifer and grand championship events across the province. More importantly we would like to thank many members of the softball community who also volunteered their weekend time convening events for us. With so many events we couldn’t be everywhere without these amazing people!

END OF SEASON NOTES

Communication dates for all divisions in terms of tryouts for the 2026/2027 season have been posted on our social media outlets and also shared via communication to association leaders. Tryouts as has been the case for some time can commence Labour Day Monday for all divisions. The first week in September we will try and share tryout information that is shared with us on our Instagram stories. We will do our best to share what we are tagged on each day.

***Player/Permission Requests for Tryout are needed for athletes planning to attend tryouts outside of their current 2026 organization*** No permission is required for net new to PWSA athletes.

COOPERATION

Coordinating and working with neighboring associations this fall is encouraged as we aim to find every athlete desiring to play the sport a spot to play for the 2026/2027 season. We ask that our softball community work together, and not against each other for the betterment of the game.
