PWSA Updates April

The calendar has turned once again, and we’re now into April. Lots of activity has been happening as associations and their teams continue the push towards the outdoor season…

Affiliation

We still have several associations that are not fully affiliated. This will create issues for teams under these associations getting affiliated, and receiving their certificate of insurance for outdoor play. We encourage association administrators to complete the process asap.

Rules Meetings

Our UIC has been running rule sessions for each of our age groups over the past couple weeks, and there are a couple of additional sessions planned for April. These sessions have been a great way for coaches and managers to ask questions about specific rules, interpretations, etc.

Next PWSA Board Meeting

The volunteers of the PWSA Board, are slated to meet again the weekend of April 12 & 13. Any news arising from these meetings will be shared with everyone post meeting.

Reminders

We do want to remind everyone, that teams need to have their COI (Certificate of Insurance) and be fully affiliated before participating in member events (such as tournaments, league play etc.). If your team is not fully affiliated, you need to get this completed asap to avoid disappointment at the end of April.
