Covid-19 and Return to Play Update – July 21, 2020

At this time, I would like to recognize and thank the volunteers and coaches who have spent the last 4 months trying to make some type of Softball a reality for our athletes. Thank you for not giving up early as that would have been easy, and thank you for allowing our community to hold onto hope.

While all of this is positive, we are saddened to announce that with the Government’s new requirements we will be unable to run a Provincial tournament in 2020.

Refunds will be issued to all teams beginning the end of July.

We, as a community, have done all that is required for government and insurance agencies to be able to get 150 plus teams back onto the field and at least playing exhibition games.

We are working through the “Pod” creations on Wednesday and Thursday this week and hope to have everything finalized by Friday so those in Phase 3 can begin to play.

The health and safety of our Members has been, and will continue to be, our highest priority and when it is safe to do so, we will again be proud to provide Provincial Championships and Qualifiers for all divisions.

We thank everyone for their support during these challenging times.
